Accounting Manager

Job Description

The role of the Accounting Manager involves overseeing financial reporting, consolidation, and analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.

The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial reporting. Experience with GAAP and IFRS standards is also a requirement.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
  • Oversee consolidation activities as per given timelines.
  • Reconcile related party balances and eliminate them for consolidation purposes.
  • Coordinate with finance teams to complete quarterly and annual statutory audit activities on time.
  • Develop and prepare reports to analyze all financial metrics.
  • Ensure that new accounting pronouncements are appropriately applied by entities within the company.
  • Prepare various management reports and provide effective analysis of monthly P&L, B/S, and cash flow to senior finance officials.
Qualifications
  • CA degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 6-8 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in a multinational corporation (MNC) group or similar experience with one of the top-rated audit firms.
Required Skills
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting.
  • Experience with GAAP and IFRS standards.
