AI Engineer Job Overview

MUFG Bank is seeking an experienced AI engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and governing AI solutions across the organization.

This position requires a strong background in AI technologies, including machine learning and natural language processing. You should have hands-on experience applying AI in enterprise solutions and be familiar with cloud services, such as Azure Cloud. A deep understanding of large language models (LLMs) and their applications is also essential.

We are looking for someone who can work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team. Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are necessary.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for continuous learning and innovation in AI technologies and be able to contribute to the creation and delivery of training materials for AI tools.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and deploying AI solutions that meet organizational needs
  • Evaluating LLMs from key market providers and providing technical input
  • Implementing and monitoring security controls for AI models and data


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT industry
  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience applying AI technologies in enterprise solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
  • Professional certifications in AI, or Data Science are advantageous
