Job Title: US Senior Tax Preparer

At Milta Accounting Services Private Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced US Senior Tax Preparer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review tax returns for US Partnership, Corporate, and Individual clients, including HNIs and various states and local taxes.
  • Manage a portfolio of over 200 clients, providing hands-on work with tax forms such as 1120S, 1040, and 1065.
  • Familiarize yourself with a wide range of tax forms, including W2, 1099, Schedule AE, 4562, K1, Schedule L, M1, M2, 8825, and others.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain work papers for all tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Responsible for self-review of deliverables before handing them to supervisors, ensuring high-quality work.
  • Participate in US Corporate Tax training modules and on-the-job trainings to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Develop strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with the team and clients.
  • Work with existing processes and systems, suggesting constructive improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Validate data and analysis for accuracy and relevance, ensuring the highest level of quality.
  • Communicate confidently and clearly, both verbally and in writing, to convey complex tax information.
  • Proficient in using tax research tools, such as CCH DrakePro Series Tax, for tax preparation, review, and workflow management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4-10 years of relevant experience in client handling.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Develop a positive work atmosphere, providing training and coaching to team members.
  • Manage and supervise human availability in accordance with day-to-day operations demands.
  • Hold one-on-one meetings with team members to discuss their workflow and provide feedback.
  • Attend client and management meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to convey complex tax information.
