Software Developer in Test Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer in Test with experience in automated testing frameworks, software development, and collaboration. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Cypress. They will create and execute functional, regression, and automated tests, collaborate with developers and analysts to plan sprints, write user stories, and align with product roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated testing frameworks using Cypress.
  • Create and execute functional, regression, and automated tests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan sprints, write user stories, and align with product roadmaps.
  • Analyze user behavior to improve feature stability and system performance.
  • Contribute to process improvements and provide insights for better test coverage.
  • Manage test servers and write SQL queries for data validation.

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in Playwright, Cypress, Cucumber/Gherkin, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of OOP, HTML, jQuery, and software engineering practices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo) and Agile/XP methods.
  • Experience with server configuration, DevOps, and source control systems.
