Quality Assurance Lead Job Description

The Quality Assurance Lead will be responsible for ensuring the high quality of software applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans in collaboration with the development team.
  • Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough testing.
  • Implement quality assurance best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Analyze and develop complex test data sets for comprehensive testing.
  • Identify and select test cases for automation and/or create, enhance, debug, and execute automation test cases.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to ensure software quality.
  • Develop automated test scripts using Selenium and BDD framework to streamline testing.
  • Suggest improvements on the automation framework to enhance efficiency.
  • Report defects and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
  • Analyze test results and track software testing metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Prepare and present test reports to stakeholders.
  • Train and mentor junior software test engineers to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Collate and monitor defect management processes to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in software testing – manual & automation and quality assurance practice.
  • Experience working on Trade Finance platforms and web applications.
  • Strong expertise in performing different types of functional and non-functional testing.
  • Experience using Selenium Webdrivers, TestNG, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
