About this role:

The Product Catalog Specialist's role involves researching, writing, data collection, and client management. Key responsibilities include assembling and writing short descriptions for various software products, evaluating prospective vendors' fitment across multiple verticals and categories, and assisting new software vendors in setting up their listings correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Informed Research - Conduct research to define and collect features for software products across diverse industries.
  2. Research unique information about software products, including target markets and pricing information, and re-write descriptions in a non-plagiarized format.
  3. Project Management - Ensure timely completion of assigned projects.
  4. Maintain high standards of data quality and product content.
  5. Clean data collection and maintenance for productivity reports.
  6. Client Management - Evaluate prospective vendors' ability to fit on our platform.
  7. Update vendor login details/descriptions as per vendor requests.
  8. Communication Management
  9. Show a strong service ethic with a robust response rate for all inbound and outbound communications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree level or equivalent.
  • 0-1 years of writing experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English adaptable to specific audiences, subjects, and delivery mediums.
  • Able to follow style guide instructions diligently.
  • Basic understanding of the software domain, including markets, trends, and business drivers – across IT and business domains.
  • Able to manage several assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (primarily Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000-$65,000 annually, based on location and experience.
