Highly skilled engineers are sought after to join a dynamic team in developing and validating process simulations.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and verifying process simulations using industry-standard tools such as Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS, Aspen EDR, Aspen Adsorption, and HTRI.

  • Developing accurate models through building, tuning, and integrating models in OTS software and other applications.
  • Simulating normal operations, including hot or cold start-up and complete or partial shutdown operations.
  • Attaining steady state and dynamic simulation for various processes.
  • Performing detailed heat and mass balance (HMB) calculations and hydraulic analysis across different process systems.
  • Executing equipment sizing for unit operations such as distillation columns, heat exchangers, evaporators, separators, and pumps.

Candidates should possess a strong background in chemical engineering and experience with simulation software like Petro-Sim, MIMIC, OmegaLand, UniSim Design, ASPEN HYSYS, DYNSIM, Aspen-Dynamics, Aveva, Promax, or similar.

A deep understanding of separation technologies, including distillation, extraction, evaporation, chemical reactions, adsorption, pervaporation, etc., is required.

Preferred skills include closed loop control concepts, MVC tuning principles, advanced process control (APC), and manufacturing execution systems (MES).

Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
