Network Documentation Specialist

The key objective of this role is to establish a structured framework for documenting network details in Confluence, ensuring seamless integration with our standard build process.

This entails designing and developing conventions for documenting network specifics across multiple sites, encompassing as-built diagrams, contacts, and configurations. Additionally, standardized templates will be created for site documentation, runbooks, and design guidelines to ensure consistency and ease of access.

  • Develop a robust document structure incorporating Lucid charts for network design templates.
  • Collaborate with the network team to gather data, understand site-specific requirements, and accurately represent the current network state.
  • Convert existing network design data into the new structure, utilizing Confluence as the primary documentation platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of a comprehensive documentation strategy aligned with industry best practices.
  • Design and implement a structured documentation framework, leveraging Confluence's features to enhance user experience.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather input, provide documentation support, and ensure smooth adoption of the new system.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in network documentation, with expertise in designing structured frameworks.
  • Proficiency in using Confluence as a documentation platform, along with familiarity with Lucid chart or similar diagramming tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
