Identity Operations Engineer Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of identity and access management systems, with the ability to ensure seamless operation.

This is a long-term contract position that involves responsibility for identity and access management systems.

The selected individual will be responsible for implementing and maintaining best practices in identity and access management, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Think critically and creatively to address ambiguous or undefined problems.
  • Comfortable performing thorough analysis, interfacing with stakeholders of various levels, and documenting solutions.
  • Develop strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Gain knowledge on Microsoft Entra ID, SailPoint Identity Secure Cloud.
  • Understand two-step verification and its applications.
  • Clearly differentiate between authentication and authorization.
  • Apply role-based access control principles.
  • Manage databases and understand data structures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with modern Identity and Access Management products, preferably SailPoint IIQ and SailPoint ISC, MS Entra ID, CyberArk.
  • Good experience in designing IAM solutions in complex landscapes involving 100+ applications with various integration types (Webservice, SCIM, Active Directory, JDBC, etc.), HR Systems like Workday, ServiceNow integration, etc.
  • Experience in designing Role-Based Access Control systems, Segregation of Duties, Entitlement Management, Identity Lifecycle Management, JML workflow.
  • Understanding of modern authentication methodologies like SAML-based Federation, OAuth 2.0, OpenID, etc.
  • Experience in contributing to SOC/Sox internal and external Audits.
  • Proficiency in working with Agile teams.
