Job Opportunity: Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

  • Owning and driving business features into technical requirements is crucial in this position.
  • The successful candidate will design and develop large-scale, real-time server-side systems.
  • Crafting high-quality prototypes with speed and efficiency is essential for success.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices is vital.
  • E nsuring all deliverables meet our world-class standards is a key responsibility.
  • Promoting coding best practices and mentoring junior developers is also expected.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in software engineering is required.
  • An excellent grasp of Core Java, Multi-Threading, and Object-Oriented design patterns is necessary.
  • Experience with Scala, functional, reactive programming, and Akka/Play is a plus.
  • An excellent understanding of data structures and algorithms is required.
  • Solid knowledge of large-scale distributed real-time systems is a must.
  • Prior experience in building scalable and resilient microservices is also a requirement.
  • A solid understanding of relational databases, NoSQL databases, and caching systems is necessary.
  • A good understanding of Big Data technologies like Spark and Hadoop is also required.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.

  • A passion for problem-solving and staying updated with the latest technologies is vital.
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to thrive under pressure is also expected.
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience within the field is required.
