IT Director for Digital Transformation

At Lal Sweets, we're seeking an IT Director to lead our digital transformation efforts. This is a unique opportunity to drive innovation and growth in our rapidly evolving food segment.
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
Job Description:
We're looking for a seasoned IT professional with a proven track record of leading large-scale projects and managing complex IT infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have experience in program management, business-wide change impact, and managing IT technology project life cycles.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our company's IT strategy, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and goals. Key responsibilities include:
1. Financial Management
- Formulate and manage the IT budget, ensuring timely reporting and addressing any budget overruns.
2. Business Applications
- Understand and address business needs through new applications, solutions, and tools that enhance cost reduction, process improvements, and customer experience.
- Support mobility solutions, distributor management systems, retailer applications, BI tools, and AI chatbots.
3. IT Operations Excellence
- Implement a robust IT operating model, aligned with industry best practices.
- Drive the development and up-gradation of IT systems, procedures, and processes to cater to evolving company needs.
4. Partner Management
- Establish strategic partnerships with IT vendors, negotiating optimal costs for projects.
- Oversee partner performance and service levels, addressing non-compliances when necessary.
5. IT Infrastructure, Security, Risk Management, and Governance
- Manage existing IT infrastructure, suggesting changes as required.
- Ensure adherence to IT security and governance frameworks, policies, and guidelines.
6. Customer Satisfaction
- Collect and analyze customer feedback on IT services and solutions, implementing strategies to improve satisfaction levels.
7. People Management
- Drive a collaborative and high-performance culture, setting goals, reviewing performance, and providing feedback.
8. Soft Skills
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, representing the organization professionally.
- Show leadership capabilities by successfully managing and mentoring teams.
Requirements:
We're looking for a highly skilled IT professional with:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Highest degree in relevant fields (Computer Science or related, Business Management).
Experience:
- Minimum 10+ years of work experience, with 4-5 years in a similar role.
- Proven experience in handling program management with business-wide change impact and managing IT technology project life cycles.
- Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders (internal/external) and multitude of users.
- Active experience managing sizeable teams (> 3).
- Handling business application rollouts, services/project of multi-dimensional nature and high complexity of services.
Prefereable Experience:
AWS, SAP, Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Cyber Security, and IT Risk Management verticals. Familiarity with related industries – Pharma, FMCG, or Process Manufacturing.
