Export Specialist Job Description

This is a key role in our organization, requiring a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to handle export-related tasks with precision and speed.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update export file and bill of lading details in the LARA system across India.
  • Update all remarks received from the intermodal team regarding import and export cleanup files.
  • Handle export invoice RFIs within the established turnaround time (TAT).
  • Respond to various queries from vendors, GBS teams, and customers in a timely manner.
  • Ensure SDP and SDD code generation within TAT.
  • Follow up on outstanding bills payments with vendors and GBS teams for smooth payment processes.
  • Collaborate with vendors until issues are resolved.
  • Daily coordination with the Mumbai intermodal team for freight order generation and COL updates on LARA and LISA systems within TAT.
  • Prepare various reports on intermodal moves daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Address and resolve service-related issues or escalations promptly.
  • E nsure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Ensure vendors understand invoicing processes, comply with company standards, and submit accurate invoices on time.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Regular follow-up on tasks.
  • Preparation of weekly/monthly reports within deadlines.
  • Immediate response to queries through messages.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree required.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and hardworking attitude.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
