Business Intelligence Developer

This role focuses on the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions using Power BI. The successful candidate will design, create, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards that meet business requirements.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of data modeling, DAX, and SQL, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop complex Power BI reports and dashboards.
  2. Create visually appealing and informative visualizations to effectively communicate data insights.
  3. Optimize Power BI reports for performance and usability.
  4. Implement best practices for Power BI development and deployment.
  5. Develop and maintain accurate and efficient data models within Power BI.
  6. Apply strong data visualization principles to create clear and concise reports.
  7. Understand and implement appropriate data relationships and hierarchies.
  8. Develop and implement complex DAX calculations for advanced data analysis.
  9. Optimize DAX queries for performance and efficiency.
  10. Troubleshoot and debug DAX issues.
  11. Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
  12. Connect Power BI to various data sources, including SQL databases.
  13. Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy.
  14. Prepare and transform data using Power Query.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 6-8 years of experience as a Power BI developer.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation.
  • Deep understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts.
  • Expertise in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
  • Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and extraction.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts.
  • Experience with data preparation and transformation using Power Query.
