Accessibility Delivery Specialist

As an Accessibility Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end accessibility of digital products and services. This includes auditing, testing, remediation, document/picture accessibility, and compliance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct automated and manual audits to identify accessibility issues in websites, portals, documents, and multimedia content.
  • Perform real-user accessibility testing with screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Remediate identified accessibility issues by providing clear and prioritized fixes and hands-on support for PDFs, Office documents, videos, and multimedia content.
  • Guide developers on accessible coding practices and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare VPATs/ACRs and client-facing accessibility conformance documentation.
  • Advise clients on ADA, Section 508, WCAG 2.1/2.2, and emerging US/state accessibility laws.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2, ADA Title II/III, Section 504/508.
  • Hands-on experience with JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack, Axe, WAVE, SiteImprove, Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, ARIA, CSS3, JavaScript (React/Angular a plus).
  • Strong documentation/reporting skills.
  • Experience supporting federal, state, or higher education contracts preferred.
Preferred Certifications:
  • IAAP CPWA (Certified Professional in Web Accessibility).
  • IAAP WAS (Web Accessibility Specialist).
  • IAAP ADS (Accessible Document Specialist).
  • DHS Section 508 Trusted Tester.
  • IAAP CPACC (Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies).
