Senior Manufacturing Specialist

The ideal candidate will develop and implement Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) programs using NX software. This includes conceptualizing and generating CAM programs, defining cutting tools and strategies for 3D models, running tool path simulations, generating NC code, and performing virtual simulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Advanced Manufacturing Processes: Develop and implement CAM programs using NX software, defining cutting tools and strategies for 3D models.
  • Validate Outputs: Run tool path simulations, generate NC code, and perform virtual simulations to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Process Optimization: Validate 3D models against 2D drawings and assemble part geometry in fixtures.
  • Collaborative Production Planning: Collaborate with process engineers to implement CAM programs on CNC machines and ensure seamless process execution.
  • Quality Assurance: Analyze QC reports, implement corrective actions, and iterate as needed to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Documentation Development: Create setup sheets and work instructions for CNC operators to ensure clear understanding of processes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Mechatronics, or Automobile Engineering (B.E. preferred).
  • Experience: 5 years (B.E.) or 8 years (Diploma) in NX CAM programming.
  • Skills: Knowledge of GD&T (mandatory), CNC machines (mandatory), NX CAD, cutting tools, and FANUC Controller (preferred).
