Strategic Financial Leader

We are seeking an exceptional Strategic Financial Leader to drive financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making efforts. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with financial models, and the ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to provide actionable insights, improve forecasting accuracy, and support key financial initiatives that drive business performance. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SaaS business metrics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to partner closely with global finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning
- Prepare and analyze financial results, providing data-driven insights to senior management and global stakeholders
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and ensure forecast accuracy, driving process improvements and automation where possible
- Analyze key SaaS metrics such as ARR, MRR, churn rate, CAC, and LTV, identifying trends and opportunities for growth
- Perform variance analysis to identify financial risks and areas for improvement, supporting informed decision-making
- Support the development of board presentations and investor communication materials, ensuring clarity and concision
- Streamline and manage recurring reporting processes across regions and product lines, enhancing reporting accuracy and reducing manual effort
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Candidate must possess a CA or MBA (Finance) from a reputable institution
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis or a similar finance role, preferably in a SaaS or tech business
- Proven success in managing global stakeholders, influencing cross-functional teams, and driving process improvements
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting, with hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite)
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, BI, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), with exposure to automation tools and process optimization techniques
- Solid understanding of Indian GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance standards
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Collaborative team player with effective interpersonal abilities, comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic global environment
