We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Database Specialist to join our team at Atos. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administering and supporting multiple Oracle databases for performance-critical, highly available systems on UNIX/Linux platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for database installation, configuration, upgradation, migration, monitoring, and administration of production databases that support mission-critical activities. They will also be expected to troubleshoot complex technical problems under pressure, implement scalable solutions, and manage multiple requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and support multiple Oracle databases for performance-critical, highly available systems on UNIX/Linux platforms.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, migrate, monitor, and administer production databases that support mission-critical activities.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical problems under pressure and implement scalable solutions.
  • Manage multiple requirements and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Oracle database concepts and strong performance tuning skills.
  • Monitor and manage databases using OEM expertise.
  • Assess and recommend solutions to ensure high availability and stability.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in Oracle security products like Data Vault, Key Vault, and database firewall is required.
  • Design and maintain database security to meet regulatory standards.
  • Strong SQL query tuning skills and RMAN backup recovery experience are essential.
  • Expertise in managing RAC databases, patching databases, and standby databases (Oracle Data Guard) is required.
  • Willingness to work in a 24x7 environment and participate in on-call rotation is necessary.
  • Exadata experience is desirable.
  • Automating routine DBA processes and scripting knowledge is required.
