Software Development Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer with expertise in Ruby on Rails to fill this position. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering software solutions that meet our clients' strategic program management needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and unit test new features within the product according to defined requirements within agreed timeframes.
  • Ensure that code developed adheres to the performance requirements of a SaaS product.
  • Build front-end software using React/Javascript according to visual designs provided by UX designers.
  • Implement corresponding backend model software using Ruby on Rails.
  • Maintain existing client applications including fast resolution of customer raised issues within the software.
  • Write unit tests to ensure that Ruby on Rails code within client's infrastructure is of high quality.
  • Collaborate effectively with product design teams, QA, and other stakeholders within the business to understand user needs, ensuring best customer solutions.
  • Estimate, self-plan, and self-manage tasks as a developer within an Agile team.
  • Document processes and software changes when necessary.
  • Protect confidential data and ensure that information security protocols are followed.
