Job Overview:

The Sports Program Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the college's sports and recreational programs. This role involves scheduling and coordinating sports events, tournaments, and practice sessions, as well as promoting sports activities and encouraging student participation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sports and recreational programs that meet the needs of students and the college community.
  • Schedule and coordinate sports events, tournaments, and practice sessions in collaboration with students, faculty, and external stakeholders.
  • Promote sports activities through various channels, including social media, newsletters, and events.
  • Provide support and guidance to student-athletes and sports teams.
  • Maintain records of student-athlete performance, eligibility, and compliance with college policies.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sports program activities and outcomes.

Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field. A Master's or higher degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in sports management or a similar role in an educational setting. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and external stakeholders.
