The role of an accounts receivable team member is crucial for business success. It involves managing and recovering outstanding payments from customers, which is vital for operations to run smoothly.

Responsibilities:
  • Understanding billing and invoicing concepts
  • Familiarity with online tools and systems
  • Assisting with day-to-day calls/queries relating to billing processes
  • Reporting activities and progress to seniors
  • Resolving inquiries/queries related to Billing
  • Adhering to policy guidelines for billing
  • Following up with field location teams for necessary supporting documents required for billing
  • Managing and recovering outstanding payments from customers
  • Contacting debtors, negotiating payment plans, resolving disputes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Investigating and addressing customer concerns related to billing, payments, or account discrepancies
  • Downloading bank statements for all accounts
  • Providing bank statements, remittances, and correspondences received to collectors on the same day
  • Performing regular tasks of customer invoicing processing function
  • Ensuring cash application only based on defined process without exceptions
  • Collating remittances for cash/wire/cheque payments received and applying to correct invoice using remittance advice from customers or related collectors
  • Reconciling orders to match customer books, including validating credits or debits and sending them to customers for collection or refund
  • Providing details of un-applied and unidentified cash to collectors daily and following up proactively to get details of applications
Requirements:
  • Graduates and/or postgraduates with 4-8 years of relevant work experience
  • End-to-end knowledge in AR
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Billing & Invoicing, Cash Application, Customer Reconciliation
