Finance Yield Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Yield Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing publisher profit/loss, communication with publishers and internal departments, technical quality assurance, and ad layout optimization.

The ideal candidate will have experience in online advertising/web analytics, yield management, campaign management, publisher operations/development, ad operations, and data analytics. Strong knowledge of DFP ad server, SSP UI/applications, and header bidding ad tech is also required.

Responsibilities:

  • Publisher Profit/Loss Management: Manage publisher profit/loss, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to increase revenue.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with publishers and internal departments to ensure smooth workflow and resolution of issues.
  • Technical Quality Assurance: Ensure ad requests and inventory settings are optimal, work with developers on publisher releases, and conduct regular checks to ensure system integrity.
  • Ad Layout Optimization: Provide recommendations for ad layout to maximize yield and publisher KPIs.
  • Publisher Onboarding: Work with SSPs to get sites whitelisted and enhance yield, manage relationships with publishers, and provide support as needed.
  • Yield Analysis: Monitor yield based on demand source by inventory/product, analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Optimization: Continuously monitor partner and publisher performance, revenue streams, and optimize set-ups to increase revenue opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Technology, or Business Intelligence. MBA or Master's degree a plus.
  • 2-3 years of experience in online advertising/web analytics, yield management, campaign management, publisher operations/development, ad operations, and data analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of DFP ad server, SSP UI/applications, and header bidding ad tech.
  • Experience managing a team, relationships, and working with stakeholders.
