Automation Test Lead

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving the quality of our software products through strategic automation test development and execution.

  • Test Strategy Development: Craft comprehensive test plans to inform decision-making and ensure seamless integration with our product roadmap.
  • Automated Test Enhancement: Continuously refine automated tests in response to evolving system features and enhancements, ensuring our software remains cutting-edge.
  • Defect Management: Oversee the execution of automated tests, manage resulting defect logs, and validate defects until resolution.
  • Environment Maintenance: Ensure up-to-date test environments and infrastructure are maintained to support efficient testing processes.
  • Proactive Identification: Proactively identify questionable functions, performance issues, and inconsistencies, and communicate findings to relevant product teams.
  • Mentorship: Document and mentor QA engineers on the use of the testing framework to foster knowledge sharing and growth within the team.
  • Tool Selection and Implementation: Assist in identifying, selecting, and implementing tools, technologies, and practices that align with our overall QA strategy.
  • Time Estimates: Contribute to accurate time estimates for automation test development to ensure project timelines remain realistic and achievable.
  • Defect Lifecycle Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of defect management principles and the bug lifecycle to efficiently track and resolve issues.
  • Debugging and Code Analysis: Demonstrate strong ability to debug test failures and trace back to failing code to minimize downtime and optimize testing efficiency.
  • Automation Framework Development: Experience building automation frameworks for web-based software as well as mobile platforms to streamline testing processes and enhance productivity.
  • Data Analysis Skills: Possess strong SQL skills and/or data validation expertise to ensure accurate data analysis and informed decision-making.
  • Sustainable Processes: Ability to articulate and drive sustainable processes that promote efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrate strong interpersonal, project management, and organizational skills to lead and motivate teams effectively, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Agile Scrum Environment: Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment to ensure seamless collaboration and adaptation in fast-paced project settings.
