Test Automation Engineer

This role is designed for individuals with a strong background in automation testing and a proven ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using various tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for automation and implement solutions.
  • Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve testing efficiency.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and tools.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of new technologies and trends in automation testing.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in automation testing.
  • Strong background in tools like Playwright, Protractor, Cucumber, and Selenium.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages, preferably Javascript and Typescript.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration/Continuous delivery (CI/CD) and automation tools like Bamboo.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and JIRA.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with testing of Appium, Mobile web, Mobile hybrid.
  • Knowledge of selenium grid and experience of selenium box/BrowserStack/SourceLabs.
  • Working knowledge of cross browser testing.
  • Good experience on Git, Bitbucket.
  • Experience in any CI/CD tool like Jenkins.
