Job Opportunity

  • Electrical service engineers play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of industrial electrical systems. They are responsible for installing, servicing and maintaining electrical systems, control panels, and industrial machinery.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults in equipment such as motors, drives, PLCs, and HMIs is a critical aspect of this job. This requires strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting methods.
  • Supporting commissioning and testing of new machines and equipment is also an essential responsibility. This involves working closely with project teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Providing technical support to clients and operators regarding equipment usage and performance is another key duty. This includes offering guidance on proper usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work completed, including service reports and documentation, is crucial for future reference and evaluation.
  • Collaborating with project, design, and automation teams to resolve complex technical issues is a critical aspect of this role. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential in this regard.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Service Engineer or similar role is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults.
  • Familiarity with motors, drives, sensors, and control circuits is essential for effective system maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals is a must-have skill.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for providing excellent customer service and support.
