Software Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our organization.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will participate in requirement analysis, task breakdown, estimation, and scheduling.
  • Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining modular, reusable, and scalable code components aligned with architectural standards.
  • The Software Engineer will implement, monitor, and enforce all standards and processes for development as per organizational quality and security standards.
  • The role requires ensuring timely delivery of projects while meeting quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • The candidate will identify, track, and mitigate dependencies and risks proactively.
  • Development artifacts must be well-documented and maintained throughout the lifecycle.
  • The Software Engineer will participate in code reviews, design discussions, and retrospectives to enable continuous improvement.
  • They will adhere to development coding standards and recommend continuous improvement of processes for development.
  • Cross-functional collaboration is essential, working effectively with teams and stakeholders across time zones.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field is required.
  • The ideal candidate has 3-7 years of experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C# 8.0 is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Integrated Development Environment (IDE) like MS Visual Studio 2019/2022 and Visual Studio Code is also required.
  • Experience with SQL server databases is essential.
  • The candidate should have knowledge in multithreaded application development, including thread safety, synchronization primitives, and effective use of async await for asynchronous programming.
  • Object Relational Mapping (ORM), such as EF Core, is also required.
  • Experience in unit testing applications with frameworks like MSTest, NUnit, or xUnit is necessary.
  • Fluency in Assertion and Moq is also required.
  • The candidate may have experience in web front-end frameworks such as Vue js, Node js, or ASP NET Core.
  • Strong knowledge in SOLID design principles and Design patterns is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Artifactory, Git, CI CD pipelines, or equivalent tools is also required.
  • Understanding and analyzing requirements and providing estimates is an essential skill.
  • A passion for clean code and pragmatic, elegant design is also required.
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written, is necessary.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in RESTful WebAPI gRPC with ASP NET Core is beneficial.
  • Knowledge on debugging and performance profiling skills using tools like Visual Studio Profiler, dotTrace is also beneficial.
  • Knowledge of design tools - draw io, Markdown, PlantUML, Mermaid is also beneficial.
  • Dependency injection pattern and IoC containers using at least one of Autofac, Unity, Ninject, and/or DryIoC is also beneficial.
  • Cloud exposure or work experience in Azure, AWS, Google, Docker is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Static Application Security Testing (SAST) using SonarQube, SonarLint is also beneficial.
