Inventory Planning and Operations Manager

Job Summary
ASSPL - Karnataka is seeking an experienced Inventory Planning and Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Account Management Excellence team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales and inventory strategies to optimize availability and inventory turns.
Key Responsibilities
- Define key in-stock metrics and work with sellers and internal stakeholders to achieve goals
- Establish a framework to manage unhealthy inventory on an ongoing basis
- Participate in seller reviews and drive operational improvement through measurement and process improvement
- Take on additional in-stock related projects/initiatives such as trans-shipment for each category and supply chain projects to drive speed
- Interact with operations teams and drive efficiencies through team collaboration
- Develop annual in-stock strategy and channel strategy such as moving maximum units to flex vs. FCs based on category priorities
- Manage peak inbound during Diwali and ART inbound strategy
- Define and achieve the inventory turn goal for each category to maintain healthy inventory in collaboration with the FBA team
- Achieve and maintain high in-stock rates on replenishment programs
- Build automated templates for demand estimation taking into account category nuances and streamlining of appointments
- Drive tools to automate forecasting for sellers
- Work with key sellers to drive processes to ensure in-time replenishment, streamlined replication & inbound processes for the sellers
- Establish mechanisms to reduce costs across the supply chain through processes such as reduction in long zone shipments
Requirements
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
