At the forefront of port development in Trivandrum, Kerala, we are seeking a seasoned Coastal Infrastructure Specialist with a strong background in civil engineering to drive the success of our ambitious project. This visionary professional will oversee the design and construction of breakwater systems, leveraging their expertise in hydrodynamics, coastal erosion, and sediment transport to create innovative solutions that minimize environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Construction of Breakwater Systems: Lead the conceptualization, planning, and execution of rubblemound, vertical, and hybrid breakwaters, ensuring the protection of our infrastructure.
  • Project Management: Oversee the coordination and delivery of multiple port expansion projects, guaranteeing adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Coastal & Marine Engineering: Apply advanced knowledge of coastal processes, hydrodynamics, and structural analysis to optimize the performance and lifespan of our breakwater and shoreline protection systems.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with government agencies, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and regulatory compliance.
  • Sustainability & Safety: Champion sustainable practices and strict adherence to HSE guidelines to protect the environment and safeguard personnel during construction.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in breakwater construction, port development, or related coastal engineering projects.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing breakwater systems, including mastery of materials, hydrodynamics, and coastal processes.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Expertise in problem-solving in complex coastal environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.E. (Civil Engineering) or equivalent degree.
  • Coastal Engineering Certification is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience working in the Kerala region or on Indian port development projects is highly valued.
