Job Title: Senior Memory Device Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Memory Device Engineer to join our Package and Development Engineering (PDE) group at Micron Technology.

About the Role:

This is a critical role within our PDE team, responsible for preparing new DRAM, NAND, or MNAND & HBM products and coordinating resources, testing, and analysis throughout the product lifecycle.

You will work closely with various TD & NPI Engineering teams to identify root causes of failed units and develop effective solutions. Your expertise in data analysis, modeling, and electrical test data analysis will be invaluable in ensuring the quality and reliability of our memory devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Enable new test signals in BE to capture assembly-related failures.
  • Analyze probe and BE test data to ensure silicon and assembly processes meet product expectations.
  • Debug and identify root causes of failures and implement fixes for fails.
  • Work with Test Solution Engineering and Product Engineering to standardize test coverages and characters.
  • Participate in PG review meetings and present data analysis.
  • Finding correlations between test failures and assembly processes.
  • Develop out-of-control-action plans and sustain them.
  • Provide lot disposition based on parametric data observations.
  • Support Global and Local material review boards and RMAs with electrical test data analysis.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Device Physics, Applied Physics, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Sound knowledge of device physics.
  • Experience in data analysis and modeling (JMP, Spotfire).
  • Programming skills in Python or Perl.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

We also welcome candidates with experience in:

  • NAND / DRAM memory or related fields.
  • Packaging assembly processes.
  • Fabrication processes, electrical characterization techniques, and metrology techniques.
