Quality Assurance Manager

The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee all quality assurance and control processes at our manufacturing facility for low-voltage electrical panels.

This role ensures compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and internal quality objectives.

The successful candidate will lead a team of quality professionals, drive continuous improvement, and maintain the highest standards of product reliability and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
  • Monitor and control quality processes across all stages of production, from raw material inspection to final product testing.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians to achieve quality objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL, BIS) and customer-specific requirements for low-voltage electrical panels.
  • Drive initiatives for process optimization, defect reduction, and quality improvement using tools like Six Sigma, Lean, and root cause analysis.
  • Oversee testing procedures, including dielectric tests, temperature rise tests, and short-circuit withstand tests, to ensure product reliability and safety.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality specifications and conduct supplier audits as needed.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related customer queries, complaints, and audits.
  • Maintain accurate quality records, prepare reports, and present quality performance metrics to senior management.
  • Identify potential quality risks and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to mitigate them.
  • Conduct training programs for employees on quality standards, processes, and best practices.
