Pricing Analyst Role:

We are seeking a skilled Pricing Analyst to contribute to our company's profitability by providing thorough and competitive cost/pricing analysis in the bid and proposal process.

  • Draft strategic pricing plans and processes to improve existing projects.
  • Create reports reflecting metrics and project status, client-level P&L, objectives, and KPIs.
  • Communicate findings effectively to relevant departments of the organization.
  • Work with the sales and delivery teams to define pricing structures for services offered.
  • Able to effectively read and understand technical/requirement documents as well as legal documents such as customer contracts.
  • Scope out opportunities based on market trends and industry conditions.
  • Identify ideal pricing structures and sales funnels.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on pricing policies and procedures.
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing decisions.
  • Creating and maintaining pricing models and tools to support business needs.
  • Providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) from an accredited institution and 5 to 8 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Proven experience developing clear and accurate deliverables from subject matter experts and technical source materials.
  • Prior experience building pricing models.
  • Must be able to think critically and develop well-reasoned analysis; identify the relevance and importance of information, understand the logical connections between ideas, and solve problems systematically as well as creatively.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, with the capability to build consensus and partnership.
