Job Title:

Senior Property Accountant

Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, including timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights to support financial planning.
  • Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards specific to the real estate industry.
  • Collaborate with property management teams to provide financial insights and support for property operations.
  • Effectively use accounting software to manage financial data and generate reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience in the real estate industry.
  • Proficiency with US/UK accounting software (e.g., Yardi, Entrata).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate meaningful reports.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of accounting work. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of real estate accounting. Experience with property management software. Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
