Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned software engineer to join our Edge Engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills and generalist operational knowledge to work on building the next generation of edge technologies.

The role involves serving as a primary point responsible for the overall health, performance, and capacity of one or more of our Internet-facing services. This includes gaining deep knowledge of our complex applications, assisting in the roll-out and ramp up of new product features and technologies, and developing tools to improve our ability to rapidly deploy and effectively monitor custom applications in a large-scale Linux environment.

The successful candidate will be passionate about this unique niche of the edge domain and believe that software automation is a key component to operating large-scale systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years experience with administration and troubleshooting of Unix/Linux systems
  • 5+ years experience coding in one or more programming languages like Rust, Go, Python, Perl, Ruby, etc.
  • B.S. or higher in Computer Science or other technical discipline, or related practical experience
