Senior Principal Software Engineer

As a seasoned expert in front-end development, you will play a pivotal role in crafting intuitive and responsive user interfaces that drive business success. Your leadership will shape the strategic direction of UI architecture, fostering innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visionary guidance on UI architecture, frameworks, and tooling to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to define and deliver seamless, high-quality user experiences that meet business objectives.
  • Write, review, and optimize clean, maintainable, and high-performance code, adhering to the highest standards of quality and security.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure smooth and responsive user interactions.
  • Implement and advocate for secure coding practices, ensuring UI components are robust against cybersecurity threats.
  • Define and oversee comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, ensuring reliability and quality.
  • Stay at the forefront of front-end technologies and emerging cybersecurity trends, proposing innovative solutions to enhance the product.
  • Mentor and support senior and junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • At least 15 years of hands-on experience in front-end development, with at least 4 years in a senior technical role. Experience in cybersecurity, particularly identity security, authentication, and access management, is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to lead UI/UX strategy and execution, translating product goals into high-impact user interfaces that enhance usability and engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance design quality with delivery speed, adopting a pragmatic approach to prioritizing what needs to be polished now vs. iterated later.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+), with proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks like React.js.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and WebSockets, as well as familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards, with a keen sense of aesthetics.
