Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure seamless department operations by exercising diligent financial control in line with company and business procedures.
• Collaborate as part of a team to maximize guest satisfaction, sourcing quality products while delivering exceptional service.
• Take ownership of assigned duties and tasks, ensuring timely completion of work in a professional manner.
• Deliver on departmental objectives, where hotel initiatives & targets are achieved.
• Work closely with immediate reports to control costs and inventory, attain productivity and performance levels.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships, promoting the company culture and values.
• Maintain adherence and compliance to legislation, performing follow-up as required for internal and external audits.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in hotel purchasing is beneficial but not essential.
• Hands-on approach with a can-do attitude, delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.
• Ability to find creative solutions and take ownership of duties and tasks assigned.
• Personal integrity, with the ability to thrive in an environment that demands excellence.
• Experience of working with various IT systems.
• Strong communication skills.
