Job Title: SAP manufacturing (SAP PP and PPDS)

Duration: Full-time employment opportunity

Location: Onsite work in Pune or Nagpur

Experience: 7+ years of experience required

Work time zone: EST time zone.
This is a permanent job with Quantum, offering the chance to work onsite on an H1 visa in the future.

A person must be based in our office - a mandatory requirement

Job Description:

  • Fully qualified professional with extensive knowledge of SAP manufacturing processes, including PP & PPDS modules
  • Implementation/migration experience with SAP S/4 HANA
  • Able to gather business requirements and translate them into effective SAP S/4 HANA solutions
  • Proficient in configuring and customizing the SAP PPDS module to meet specific client needs, including master data (BOMs, routings), demand planning, resource planning, and capacity planning
  • Well-versed in SAP integration scenarios with other modules and third-party systems, along with their configuration and integration features
  • Expertise in end-to-end test scenario development and testing activities for the respective module
  • A good communicator with experience working directly with end-users and third-party teams
  • Ready to work in the EST time zone
  • Pharmaceutical industry knowledge an asset

Key Technologies skills:

  • Embedded PPDS: Focus on real-time, integrated planning using S/4HANA's built-in PPDS capabilities
  • Finite Capacity Scheduling: Ability to create realistic and achievable production schedules based on available resources
  • Optimization: Utilize PPDS to optimize resource utilization, minimize lead times, and enhance overall production efficiency
  • Planning Tools: Familiarity with tools like 'and' .
