Responsibilities:

As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for designing system architectures to meet product needs and business scale both in the short and long term. You will own the high-level design of systems and low-level design of the domain in line with industry standard practices to ensure ease of maintenance and iteration.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8 - 12+ years of backend software engineering experience
  • Experience in designing distributed systems based on event-driven architecture handling significant scale
  • Experience in owning system performance metrics and system evolution
  • Exposure to consumer-facing products
  • Familiarity with our tech stack or an analogous tech stack
  • Ability to mentor sizeable teams
