Job Title: Visionary Software Engineering Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled software engineering leader to drive innovation and impact within our team.

About the Role
  • Lead a team of technologists responsible for post-trade securities processing technology.
  • Oversight of application development using modern tools such as IntelliJ, VSCode, and Microsoft Co-Pilot.
  • Implement AI/ML solutions to enhance processing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Utilize KAFKA for real-time data streaming and processing.
  • Develop and maintain applications using JAVA, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Drive testing automation using tools like Cucumber and Fitness tests to ensure software quality.
  • Design and implement Rest APIs and GRPC for seamless integration and communication.
  • Lead cloud initiatives, leveraging GCP and other cloud technologies for scalable solutions.
  • Manage both NoSQL and SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
Requirements
  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
  • 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage complex technical items.
  • Proven experience in software engineering leadership roles, within the financial services industry.
  • Hands-on experience in application development using IntelliJ, VSCode, and Microsoft Co-Pilot.
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies and their application in software development.
  • Strong understanding of both NoSQL and SQL databases.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience leading teams in multiple locations.
