Automation Engineer

A career as an Automation Engineer offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on businesses and drive innovation. With automation technology, you can streamline processes, reduce manual errors, and improve efficiency.

The role involves designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions using tools like Ansible, Shell scripting, and Python. Strong understanding of business intelligence (BI) tool architecture is essential. Experience with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools like JIRA is also crucial.

  • Key Skills:
  • Hands-on experience in writing automation scripts using Ansible, shell scripts, and/or Python.
  • Strong ownership, communication skills, and ability to drive tasks independently.
  • Strong understanding of BI tool architecture preferably Tableau.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automation deployments.
  • Understanding of Public Cloud concepts and containerization.
  • Ability to incorporate other components in ecosystem into the automation - Password management system (eg, HashiCorp, CyberArk) , REST API based workflows related to BI platforms.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They should be able to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely.

  • Essential Responsibilities:
  • Performance analysis of problems/incidents to identify business impact and root causes.
  • Conduct application debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct performance tuning to improve application performance and reliability.
  • Manage continuity of business (COB) and other high availability efforts.
  • Provide ownership of major incident or outages of critical systems.
  • Develop and maintain application monitoring solutions.

Requirements

Candidates must have at least 15 years of full-time education, with a minimum percentage of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable).
