As a key member of our Internal Audit team, you will be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes within the organization. You will work closely with management to assess the adequacy of internal controls, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit Execution: Execute robust Internal Audit engagements and testing and monitoring activities in line with the annual Internal Audit program">
  • Control Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify deficiencies or weaknesses in processes, systems, or practices.">
  • Audit Planning: Prepare audit engagement plans tailored to the specific risks and objectives of each audit engagement.">
  • Reporting & Communication: Document audit findings, observations, and recommendations in clear and concise reports for presentation to management and stakeholders.">
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with management to implement corrective actions and improvements based on audit recommendations.">
  • Follow-up & Resolution: Monitor and track the status of audit findings and management responses to ensure timely resolution and closure.">
  • Team Support & Guidance: Provide support and guidance to colleagues within the Internal Audit team and across the organization on risk management and control-related matters.">
  • Special Project & Initiative: Participate in special projects, investigations, or initiatives as assigned by the Head of Internal Audit">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

You should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Studying towards professional qualifications (IIA CIA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalents) is an added advantage. Additionally, you should have twelve months plus of progressive Internal Audit experience and possess strong understanding of Internal Audit, Internal Control concepts, risk management principles, and audit methodologies.
