Data Engineer Position

You'll have a direct impact on tooling/development cycles/testing frameworks. You'll work as part of a high-energy team scaling across engineering functions.

  • Process data according to guidelines.
  • Develop reports and analyses.
  • Support identifying reporting requirements.
  • Evaluate changes to source production systems.
  • Develop data pipelines for data standardization.
  • Handle multiple data sources, structure large data sets, and create standardized schema.
  • Visualize data using graphs, infographics, data dumps, cohorts, heat maps, clusters, and other methods.

Must-haves:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Good knowledge of databases like MySQL (scripts, procedures, functions, indexes, relationships, schema management) and NoSQL.
  • Good coding skills in languages like Python.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning, and transforming techniques.
  • Reporting and data visualization skills using software like Tableau or PowerBI.
  • Understanding of data warehousing and ETL techniques.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze tools and databases and provide recommendations.
  • Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
