Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned IT Asset Management Professional to drive compliance, cost optimization, and lifecycle governance of IT assets.

About the Role:

  • Lifecycle Governance: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
  • Hardware Asset Management (HAM): Oversee HAM processes for accurate inventory tracking, asset optimization, and governance.
  • Software Asset Management (SAM): Lead SAM programs ensuring license compliance, audit readiness, and effective vendor management.
  • Cloud Insights: Implement Cloud Insights practices to monitor, optimize, and report on cloud consumption and costs.
  • CMDB and Asset Repositories: Maintain and govern CMDB and asset repositories, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IT governance standards.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT teams for cost-effective asset management and reporting.
  • Audits and Risk Assessments: Conduct audits, reconciliations, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate IT asset-related risks.
  • Training and Mentorship: Train, coach, and mentor fresh graduates and junior IT staff on ITAM processes, compliance, and tools.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives within IT asset management.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM) across Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and Cloud Insights.

Deep expertise in ITAM platforms and frameworks.

Ability to mentor and train new graduates and junior staff in industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage IT asset lifecycles from procurement to retirement.
  • Develop and maintain asset management policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
