Dedicated Pediatric Nutrition Specialist

Our team is seeking a dedicated professional to fill the role of Pediatric Oncology Nutritionist. As a member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing nutritional care and support to children undergoing treatment in the Paediatric Oncology and Hematology departments.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for assessing the nutritional needs of each child, developing individualized diet plans, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of counselling sessions.

• Manage out-patient and in-patient care in Paediatric Oncology and Hematology departments.
• Assess children's health and nutritional needs based on Cuddles Foundation guidelines.
• Develop diet plans tailored to each child's medical condition, growth, and development needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of counselling sessions for monitoring, evaluation, and case study development.
• Conduct group counselling sessions and parent support meetings to promote good food habits and emotional support.
• Distribute nutritional aid at hospitals as initiated by the organization.
• Participate in training programs and demonstrate openness to ongoing learning and evaluations.
• Stay updated with current research in nutritional science.
• Collaborate with hospital doctors and nurses while reporting progress to the team lead.
