Job Description:

  • The successful candidate will develop individualized diet plans for each child, working closely with families to ensure that every child receives the best possible care.
  • Maintaining accurate records of counselling sessions and progress reports is crucial in this position, as it enables us to track the impact of our work and make informed decisions about future initiatives.
  • Regular group counselling sessions and parent support meetings are also a key part of this role, providing a safe space for families to share experiences and receive guidance on promoting good food habits and emotional well-being.
  • Additionally, the selected candidate will be responsible for distributing nutritional aid at hospitals, including ration kits, eggs, bananas, milk, and other essential items.
  • Participating in training programs and meetings organised by relevant authorities and demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and evaluation are also essential aspects of this position.
  • Finally, staying up-to-date with current research and advancements in nutritional science is vital in ensuring that our team provides the highest level of care to our patients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A recognised degree in nutrition or a related field.
  • Significant experience in paediatric oncology nursing or a related field.
