Job Title: Piping Design Manager

This key leadership role will oversee the development and implementation of piping design projects from concept to completion, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards.

  • Manage a team of engineers and designers to deliver high-quality piping designs on time and within budget.
  • Lead design reviews and technical discussions to resolve issues and enhance design quality.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of piping systems into project designs.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with a strong understanding of piping design principles, materials, fabrication, and installation methods. Experience in large-scale projects is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Plan, schedule, and control projects to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and develop a team of engineers and designers, ensuring effective delegation of tasks and performance management.
  • Design Oversight: Ensure that piping designs comply with industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of experience in piping design engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Industry Expertise: Experience in large-scale projects in sectors such as oil & gas, petrochemical, power, or industrial manufacturing.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers and designers.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify problems early, perform detailed analysis, and develop effective solutions.
Certifications:
  • Certified Professional Engineer (PE), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent certifications.
