Job Title: Senior Software Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned software developer to join our team and take on the challenge of designing, developing, and deploying innovative applications that serve existing software systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new applications using Java 11/17, Spring framework, and Spring Boot.
  • Further develop current software applications to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Develop in multiple modules and architectures, following development best practices and current development technologies.
  • Maintain and update systems documentation and knowledgebase for support efficiencies.
  • Design and conduct tests to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Support users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in Java application development.
  • Experience with Java 11/17, Spring framework, and Spring Boot.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and writing SQL queries.
  • Experience with JSP, Hibernate/JPA, and JUnit or Unit testing.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Good knowledge of queue-based applications.
  • Financial industry experience.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React and Ext JS.
  • Knowledge of Kotlin or Python.
