Job Description

As a Supply Chain Excellence Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business success by optimizing supply chain operations. You will be responsible for identifying best practices and planning process improvements to enhance service levels and inventory turnover ratio.

You will develop SC dashboards aligned with Beiersdorf's global and internal KPIs, conduct analysis, and implement improvements to eliminate non-value-added activities. Additionally, you will set up reviews with the Director of Supply Chain, update dashboards, manage budgets, and control costs.

You will lead and implement all SC IT automation projects, partnering with stakeholders to realize expected benefits in line with local and global KPIs. Furthermore, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying key processes within demand and supply planning functions.

You will train and coach the demand and supply planning community to drive adoption of key DP and SP processes. Moreover, you will lead the rollout of SAP-WMS implementation across identified warehouses, partnering with RLMs and LSPs to deliver committed KPIs.

Key responsibilities include building a strong transportation network, negotiating favorable terms for annual transportation agreements, ensuring transit compliance, and developing frameworks for execution excellence in warehousing through value stream mapping and lean management programs.

Ultimately, your goal will be to establish safety and quality parameters for warehouse operations, partner with Regional Logistics teams for compliance adherence, develop SOPs for warehousing operations, and ensure inventory accuracy across the country on a daily basis.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Postgraduate degree in Supply Chain Management or related field from a premier institution;
  • Sound understanding of the Indian logistics environment, including warehousing, transportation, and supply chain IT tools;
  • Prior experience leading or driving SC IT projects resulting in cost or process efficiencies.
