Job Title: Supply Chain Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Expert to oversee the transportation of frozen and chilled goods nationally, ensuring efficient routes and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement processes for primary and secondary transportation, streamlining domestic movements for frozen, chilled, and dry goods.
  2. Analyze data to inform decisions regarding TRAILER transportation from factories to ports, driving productivity and efficiency parameters.
  3. Implement cost-saving opportunities in cold chain logistics, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance freight and transportation efficiency.
  4. Maintain high standards of quality and safety by ensuring compliance with temperature control and regulatory requirements.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including the central supply chain planning team.
  6. Monitor vehicle performance and implement strategies to optimize utilization, reducing costs and improving efficiency.
  7. Manage all transportation-related bills and payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transportation invoices and payments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives and improving efficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
