Quality Assurance and Control Leader

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance and Control leader for our Polymer and Chemical division in India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in quality assurance and control, specifically within the polymer or chemical manufacturing sector, and will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Quality Protocols: Create and execute comprehensive quality assurance protocols for polymer and chemical products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct Regular Inspections and Testing: Perform regular inspections and testing of materials and products to guarantee quality and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the QA/QC Team: Manage and lead the QA/QC team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to staff members to enhance their skills and expertise.
  • Collaborate with Production Teams: Work closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Maintain Documentation and Records: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to quality control processes and results, including records of inspections, testing, and corrective actions.
  • Participate in Audits: Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits as required, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Analyze Data and Trends: Review and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in quality processes, making informed decisions to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.
  • 10-19 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control within the polymer or chemical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools.
  • Proficiency in laboratory testing methods relevant to polymers and chemicals.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
