We are seeking a Façade Access Expert to join our team.

Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Façade Engineering team on challenging single or multi-disciplinary projects, gaining experience providing façade access advice and design expertise.

Our client provides support of the highest calibre to prestigious and complex projects around the world.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity of working on façade access systems integration into projects, leading the design to achieve optimal cost, aesthetic impact and functionality, while following best health and safety practices.

Responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with the design team to advise on façade access systems integration.
  • Leading the design to achieve optimal combination of cost, aesthetic impact and functionality.
  • Preparing façade access strategy reports at key stages of project design.
  • Preparing Employer's Requirements Documentation and System Specifications for façade access and façade replacement systems.
  • Reviewing contractor drawings and inspecting site throughout the construction process to ensure compliance to the spec, design intent and relevant legislation.
  • Managing multiple façade access consulting projects simultaneously and working directly with clients.
  • Conducting research on industry trends and currently available technologies used in façade access.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Experience working with façade access systems in a consultancy or contractor's role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of façade access systems, their performance and operation, as well as current engineering standards, practices, regulations and legislation.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a relevant academic background.
  • Competence in AutoCAD and/or Revit and 3D design software
