Senior Java Developer with Advanced Kafka Skills

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems using Java and advanced Kafka technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-performance software systems using Java and Spring Boot
  • Develop and maintain efficient data processing pipelines using Kafka Connect and Kafka messaging event streams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and design solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality coding standards
  • Develop automated testing frameworks using Junit and ensure comprehensive test coverage
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Java development, with expertise in core Java and advanced concepts
  • Strong experience in software development, including Agile methodologies and estimation techniques
  • Expertise in Kafka Connect, Kafka messaging event streams, and non-relational document databases
  • Experience in cloud platforms such as PCF and AWS, with knowledge of cloud security and compliance
  • Solid understanding of OpenShift Kubernetes and containerization
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
